CQ World Scouts is een jaarlijkse activiteit georganiseerd door União dos Escoteiros do Brasil – UEB (Scouting Brazilië) en erkend door de WOSM (World Organisation for Scouting Movements). De Brazilianen hebben als belangrijkste doel het promoten van de radiohobby en het uitwisselen van informatie en kennis tussen zendamateurs en scouts. Het weekend ligt ongeveer tussen 2 JOTA-JOTI’s in, waardoor de zendamateurs meer betrokken blijven bij de scoutinggroep en vise-versa.
Omdat de wedstrijd pas aan het einde van de middag begint is er de ruimte om zaken uit te proberen welke weer van pas kunnen komen gedurende de JOTA-JOTI. Kortom een heel goed moment om samen met de zendamateurs en de oudere scouts uitgebreid stil te staan bij alle technieken die aan de orde komen.
Uit naam van Braziliaanse scouts nodigen wij jullie graag uit om deel te nemen aan de CQ World Scouts contest. Wij hopen dat er vele scouts en zendamateurs elkaar treffen in deze contest ! Ruim 10 jaar geleden jaar geleden kreeg de Braziliaanse organisatie de toestemming van The World Organisation of the Scout Movement om dit als scouting activiteit te promoten. Daardoor is het echte een wedstrijd voor en door scouts geworden! Ook al heb je misschien niet de gehele 24 uur tijd of zin doe gezellig mee!
Om de verbindingen te loggen word geadviseerd om het bekende programma N1MM Logger te gebruiken. Deze kun je HIER downloaden, er zal een .rar file beschikbaar zijn om het loggen van andere scouts te vereenvoudigen. Zodra deze file beschikbaar is zullen we op deze website een link plaatsen.

CQ World Scouts is an annual activity organized by União dos Escoteiros do Brasil – UEB (Scouting Brazil) and recognized by the WOSM (World Organization for Scouting Movements). The main goal of the Brazilians is to promote the radio hobby and to exchange information and knowledge between radio amateurs and scouts. The weekend is approximately between 2 JOTA-JOTI’s, so that the radio amateurs stay more involved in the scouting group and vise-versa.
Because the competition only starts at the end of the afternoon, there is room to try out things that can come in handy during the JOTA-JOTI. In short, a very good time to discuss all the techniques that will be discussed together with the radio amateurs and the older scouts.
On behalf of Brazilian scouts, we would like to invite you to participate in the CQ World Scouts contest. We hope that many scouts and radio amateurs will meet each other in this contest ! More than 10 years ago, the Brazilian organization received permission from The World Organization of the Scout Movement to promote this as a scouting activity. As a result, it has really become a competition for and by scouts! Even if you may not have the entire 24 hours or feel like joining us!
